POLICE SUMMONS HON EUCHARIA AZODO’S AIDE OVER FORGERY

The police force headquarters, Abuja has summoned two of the political aides to Hon. Eucharia Azodo member representing Aguata Federal Constituency over an alleged  Election result forgery.

Telegraph gathered that the police summon was served on Okey Paschal Okpara and Innocent Igbanu for forging the result of election unto the last Aguata House of Representative Election 

The summon letter cited by New Telegraph, directed the duo to report to the police headquarters on last Friday.

Investigation by New Telegraph revealed that Azodo was declared winner at a parallel election contested by Mrs. Lolo Jude Osude and Hon. Eucharia Azodo, both of PDP, into the Aguata Federal House of Assemble Constituency Election. 

Since then, the two candidates have been in court over the validity of the election declared by INEC.

Telegraph authoritatively learnt that Mrs  Osude  had  petitioned the police over the forgery of the result of the election, pointing accusing fingers at Azodo’s aids.

A police source close to the force  headquarters told our correspondent over a telephone call that they sent a letter of invitation to the accused persons to come for an interview. 

He said "the letter sent to them was dully signed by the Commissioner of the Police, with a police letter headed paper, from the office of the Inspector General of Police, saying that they are waiting for their guest. Meanwhile, an unconfirmed report has alleged that the aids, Mr. Okey and Igbanu may not honour the police invitation; alleging that the recent Awka High Court’s judgment on the matter was in their favor.
