reports that the Federal High Court 3, Abuja has adjourned the case between
Jideofor Chinwuba Ezeh , as Plaintiff and Banex Microfinance Bank Limited and
Dr Victor Ogochukwu Mbanisi as defendants to November 15th , 2018
for hearing.
As well another related case before the National Industrial
Court Abuja between the plaintiff who complained against injustices of the
defendants against him equally came up but was adjourned to November 5th,
2018 for hearing.
For the other case at the FCT High Court, Abuja between
Jideofor Chinwuba Ezeh, as plaintiff and Banex Group Limited as defendant on
suit No C/3235/17, it clashed with their case at the National Industrial Court,
so a new adjourned date would be communicated to the parties soon.
Details of the cases in the story below after post script
PS: For doing our constitutional roles of informing the
public and particularly for the report below and similar with different
headline, Billionaire Businessman, Banex Group limited Chairman and General
Overseer of a Church, Rev Dr Victor Ogochukwu Mbanisi from Oraukwu has sent his
lawyers Chioke, Ephraim and Co solicitors of Alpha-Craft Attorneys after Odogwu
Media for defamation and embarrassment. Its mere intimidation and chasing the
winds…..
The law firm gave us demand notice as signed by one Charles
Chibuike Ezeagu Esq which ordinarily we should ignore and meet them in court
but because we had no ulterior motive and very mild in our report without
exposing what we know about Mbanisi and company, we shall consider to reply
accordingly.
But it is only when a ‘quack’ becomes a ‘lawyer’ that a
client is allowed to enter his grave by himself, by the time he is done, we won’t
be listening to his pleas even though the client has mapped millions to destroy
a ‘fly’.
A lawyer of repute with NBA won’t be ignominiously asking a
reporter how he got his information that is before a court of competent
jurisdiction even demanding for N50 Million in damages.
What he does not know was that at a click of a button, all
his dossier would be online for the world and all national dailies to feast and to judge us on who is embarrassing
who but for two reasons …..one, we have nothing personal in the case but wish a
Billionaire and Priest settles his poor former staff by paying him off whatever
his demand even when the former staff was on his own accusing us of publishing
him in bad light. Both are from Anambra, same community and relatives
Two , we were not investigating Banex Chairman or his
company abinitio, but ran into his case in court and a digging here and there revealed
much on him. He was called severally to ask him to resolve these cases out of
court with his boy in our method of operation but he never picked. The next was
his subject calling , demanding how much it would take to ..... which we
frowned at.
Then a demand notice. When he now gave us demand notice and
we went into research, in days much has been revealed about the cases too including
the details of his case in Federal High Court Abuja and FCT High Court as well
as National Industrial Court.
We discovered there is a petition in NDIC and
ICPC confirming our stand among others and mind boggling was his Glynco Engineering Limited deal in
2014 of one Mr Gabriel Okoro, forgery, Tax evasion documents and Audited
Accounts, the saga with DSS etc . In Oraukwu, over 20 people who served one Billionaire
are roaming the town
Odogwu Media would
have called a press conference with documents we now have to ask him to go to
court and do some expose here and there but for now it is needless. Let the two
brothers and relatives stop washing their dirty linen in public before we and other media join
them properly in the skelewu dance…..

As well, the FCT High Court, Abuja will on 17th July, 2018
hear for mention the case between Jideofor Chinwuba Ezeh, as plaintiff and
Banex Group Limited as defendant on suit No C/3235/17.
Banex is owned by Chief Victor Ogochukwu Mbanisi and 14 days
writ of summon was served the company on 17th October, 2017 by order of court,
with the plaintiff claiming defamation of his character by the defendant.
The Plaintiff aside claiming being maligned , said the
statement by the defendant was done with malice and therefore asking for an
order of the court to award him One Hundred Million naira (N100,000,000) for
the damages done to his name and person.
The Plaintiff’s lawyer , Nnamdi Akuneto of V.I Nnaji and co
chambers as well claimed that the defendant should pay them the court charge of
Two Million Naira, cost of the suit.
There is as well another related case before the National
Industrial Court Abuja on same 17th July, 2018 between the plaintiff who
complained against injustices of the defendants against him.
Several calls to the defendant/ Chairman of Banex to
ascertain why he allowed such a case to go on instead settling his brother
since they are both from Oraukwu in Anambra state were not picked.
The plaintiff, Jideofor picked his call but said no words
even as he would have been asked to know why he allowed the case to go to court
since the Banex owner is capable to settle whatever rift outside court with
him.
There was a report on ICPC AND NDIC over tax evasion,
forgeries , money laundry and threat to life this medium gathered that
warranted the faceoff between Banex Chairman and Managing Director of one of
his numerous companies that could still be resolved.
