www.odogwublog.com reports that the fearless Anglican Archbishop of Enugu, Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma
has declared that there is no
vacancy in Ebonyi state government house
come 2019 because of the
developmental strides of Governor David
Umahi.
Archbishop Chukwuma while preaching
during the funeral of the late
mother of Bishop Monday Nkwoagu of
Anglican Diocese of Abakaliki at
the weekend described Governor Umahi
as unstoppable and a moving
train.
He said the governor through his
developmental projects has made the
state impossible for opposition to
rear their ugly heads, adding “the
Governor has done very well and he
will come back in 2019 as governor
of Ebonyi state”
While addressing the candidate of
the Labour party in the state in the
last election, Mr. Edward Nkwegu and
other members of APC who were
also in the church, Chukwuma urged
them to join hands together with
Governor Umahi to complete his
second term, adding that he has done
very well to deserve second term.
“I was told that the man who
contested against Governor Unahi in the
last election on the platform of
Labour Party is here in the church,
where is he? Nwokem meaning, my
friend, join hands with the governor
to complete his second term because
there is no vacancy in Ebonyi
state in 2019. Wait for your turn
ok, Umahi will go back to complete
the good works he has started in the
state. I was passing through
Ebonyi state and discovered that
roads are being built with concrete
and very thick one for that matter”
Reacting, Governor David Umahi said
he was elected the governor of the
state against all odds for a purpose
which he sad was to reposition
the state and prosper her to be the
best developed state in the
country.
He said his administration since
inception has been tackling poverty
and infrastructural development.
Among the members of the opposition
present during the church service
included Senator Chris Nwankwo who
represented Ebonyi North senatorial
zone and Chief Mathias Adum among
others.
