www.odogwublog.com reports that with the joining of the race for 2019 Orumba North and Orumba South in Federal House of Representative by Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, Chairman South East Amalgamated Market Traders Association (SEAMATA), the ambition of Chief Ben Nwankwo may have to be cut short.

Obiano is disposed to give to him having mobilized unprecedented support for him throughout the last four years even though Nwankwo Ben dumped PDP when he read the handwriting on plans of APGA to return at all cost. But can he be trusted?

Ezenwankwo disclosed this during a meeting with stakeholders of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area on Sunday.

He said he was joining the race following extensive consultations with the people of the area and to raise the stake in qualitative representation in the Green Chambers.

Ezenwankwo who is also the Leader of APGA in Orumba North said he was in touch with the grassroots and appreciated their challenges, noting that his aspiration was to influence legislation that would address those challenges.

"I have consulted with you, my people other relevant stakeholders and based on our meeting, I declare my intention to contest for the Orumba North and Orumba South Federal Constituency in the next election.

"I am one of you, I share your pains and I want to do more by representing your interest at the National Assembly and making the laws that will affect you positively. I have your mandate, I am ready and I have the capacity to pursue this course, all I want to ask is your unreserved support," he said.

The Orumba North and Orumba South Federal Constituency seat is presently occupied by Chief Ben Nwankwo who won on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but defected to APGA just before the Nov. 18, 2017 governorship election in Anambra.

Some of the stakeholders at the meeting were Dr Joe Akabuike, Commissioner for Health in Anambra, Mr Emeka Aforka, chairman Orumba North council. Others were Mr Obinna Ikweto, chairman of APGA in the council all ward chairmen, secretaries and women leaders in Orumba North.
