Chukwuma has condemned incessant killings across the country by the
people believed to be Fulani herdsmen.

Bishop
Chukwuma made the call at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Onitsha during a
Thanksgiving Service, held in honour of the senator representing
Anambra North Senatorial Zone, Sen. Stella Oduah.
The
Anglican cleric called on the Federal Government to check the
activities of Fulani herdsmen, while also calling on Nigerians to be
prepared to defend themselves.
Chukwuma made reference to the recent Benue State crisis, where herdsmen were believed to have murdered many.
He condemned the act, saying it was, `ungodly, evil and punishable by God’.
``I
advise Nigerians to be vigilant and to be prepared to defend
themselves. I call on the Federal Government to look into this serious
issue,’’ Chukwuma added.
A
member representing Ogbaru II constituency, in the Anambra State House
of Assembly, Benson Nwawulu said Nigeria was sitting on `a keg of gun
powder’, waiting to explode.
Nwawulu,
who described Sen. Oduah as a worthy ambassador said she has proved
herself as a distinguished representative of her people. ##
