Sad Thursday as many people lost their lives at Abbatoir area of Agege, in outskirts of Lagos when a train derailed.The incident took place this morning as several others sustained a high degree of injuries while vehicles and property worth millions were affected.
According to Lagos State police spokesman, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said that train rammed into a trailer and injured so many people while a large number of persons unconfirmed were dead
“We just got the information. Our
policemen and those attached to the railway command are in control of
the situation. I cannot confirm any death, but i can tell you that some
persons were injured."Said Famou-Cole.
