Labour Party suspends Uche Ugwoji, and 7 others for anti-party


www.odogwublog.com reports that National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam weekend suspended eight (8) officers including the Anambra state Deputy Chairman of the party, Mr Uche Ugwoji.
Others suspended were Mr Rich Ejike Onuorah , Alex Osita Obi, Mr Bertram Enukora , Mr Ifeanyi Mbagwu, Mr Greg Amarube , Pastor Longinus Nnajifor and Okecima Anizoba.
According to the statement by the National Chairman, they were suspended for misconduct, insubordination , gross indiscipline and anti-party activities.
The statement personally signed by Abdulsalam states in part: ‘’the suspension became imperative to maintain discipline, sound party spirit and prevent action inimical to the smooth administration of the party in Anambra state’’.
Similarly, Abdulsalam has re-confirmed that Hon Luke .C. Ezeanokwasa remains the Anambra state chairman of Labour Party and asked party members to accord him the respects and recognition demanded of the office.
He said Labour Party’s Deputy National Secretary, Barr Julius Abure does not act in the interest of the party and should be disregarded. He said Abure has been suspended from the party.
