Vegas where ninety-two women from around the world showcased their beauty and competed for the
crown. The popular presenter Steve Harvey again hosted the event and cracked jokes about his 2015 mistake, when he pronounced the wrong person as
that year's winner. The last surviving top 5 contestants selected after the evening gown portion, and
Miss South Africa, Venezuela, Thailand, Jamaica and Colombia were the lucky ones to be selected.. At the final selection ie the top three, Miss Jamaica, Colombia and South
Africa.After answering one question each, Jamaica’s Davina Bennett was
made the third runner up, Miss Colombia Laura Gonzalez was the second
runner-up, while Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters came first and become
Miss Universe 2017! According to a source who said that Nel-Peters was really favored throughout the night, she told a story of how she
survived a carjacking by fighting back against her attacker and used
that terrifying experience to help other women, and agitate for
