Christian Rowland writing for ODOGWU MEDIA.... Atletico Madrid striker, Diego Costa has reacted to Michy Batshuayi’s super-sub display in Chelsea’s 4-2 win over Watford on Saturday.

Chelsea looked on course for their third consecutive league defeat after Pedro’s opener was overhauled by goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Roberto Pereyra.

However, manager Antonio Conte’s decision to bring on the Belgian changed the game as he scored twice to inspire Chelsea to a comeback victory.

Costa, who left Stamford Bridge after falling out with Chelsea management, hailed his former teammate on Instagram by commenting “top Michi” on the striker’s celebratory post.

Conte had earlier told Sky Sports after the game that “It was good for Michy to score two goals. He had an impact in the game and I’m very happy for him.

“I think it’s important always to think for the team not just for himself, or myself. We have to think for the team.

“The goals were important for the team and important for the confidence, but Michy has to continue to work this way and show with every chance he deserves to play.”
