Senate Threaten To Impeach Osinbajo Over Magu.
Senate on Tuesday evening resolved to impeach the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo if he fails to remove acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu.
Senate also decided to put on hold the confirmation of nominees from
Presidency until Acting Chairman of anti-graft agency is removed.
Senate decision was as result of the resolution of Federal lawmakers on a point of order raised by Senator Sanni Yerima over statement credited to Osinbajo.
Also, speaking Senator Sekibo argued that the main function of Senate is power to confirm nominees from
Presidency.
