They prayed at their praying ground Amawbia , and at other places even as they both females and children gorgeously dressed, attended eid-el-Fitri prayers to mark the day.
Special Assistant to the Governor on Muslim Matters, Alhaji Garba Haruna told newsmen that Eid-El filtri marks the end of the month of Ramadan.
Alhaji Haruna also prayed for peace and unity of the state and Nigeria in general and thanked Governor Willie Obiano for his fatherly disposition to Muslims in the state.
The leader of the Fulani community in the state, Alhaj Gidado Sidiq urged Nigerians to continue to live in Peace and unity, irrespective of religious or ethnic leanings.
Another Muslem faithful, Alhaji Musa Bello, said Muslims in the state, especially of northern extraction, condemned in its entirety, the recent quit notice given to Ndigbo in the north, saying that Nigeria is one nation and everybody has a constitutional right to reside in any part of Nigeria without molestation.
