#iStandWithAndyUba# Group re-strategize for Andy Uba

www.odogwublog.com reports that youth volunteer group, with hash tag #iStandWithAndyUba# in Anambra state has started re-strategizing for Senator Andy Uba, one of the governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to emerge victorious in the November 2017 Governorship elections.

The group said that already, its members had launched grassroots mobilization campaign in all the 21 local government areas of the state to mop up support for the lawmaker.


The National Leader of the group, Comrade Okonkwo Samuel, stated this yesterday when the group’s leadership paid a courtesy call on the lawmaker at his country home of Uga in Aguata council area.



Okonkwo said, that the group which had structures in the 21 council areas of the state, was founded in support of Senator Andy Uba because of his unequalled record at the national assembly.


According to the group, “Senator Andy Uba is a visionary lawmaker who has distinguished himself by sponsoring bills and motions that are very crucial to national development”


“We are proud of him because he has shown a great level of commitment towards opening up some of the sectors of Nigeria’s economy through his bills and motions”


“Just recently, two of his bills passed through third reading with about three more of them waiting for presidential assent. He has so far passed thirteen (13) bills, the highest of any serving senator” Okonkwo said.


He said the lawmaker, at his constituency of Anambra South, had equally touched millions of lives through the execution of people oriented constituency projects.


“Here in Anambra South, he has shown great empathy towards his people through embarking on numerous community projects such as construction of classroom blocks, donation of public utilities, setting up of skills acquisition centres and assisting hundreds of unemployed youths with federal appointments, among many others”



The Media and Publicity Officer of the group, Mr Arinze Clems, highlighted some of the agenda of the group and the way forward in achieving victory for Uba through strategic media and grassroots movement.


“Right now, we have over 5,000 members, and we are glad to inform you that more people both old and young are volunteering to join the campaign for Senator Andy Uba” he boasted.


In his response, Uba thanked the youths for believing in him, stressing that if he became the governor by God’s grace, he would not let them down.



The senator urged them to take his good messages of transformation and rebranding of Anambra to the nooks and crannies of the state.
