www.odogwublog.com reports that National Conscience Party (NCP) founded by late Chief Abdul-Ganiyu "Gani" Oyesola Fawehinmi, has raised an alarm that the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC ) would disenfranchise over two million Anambra voters if it there is no voter re validation exercise in the state before the November Governorship election in the state.
INEC according to the Anambra Chairman , Sir Peter Okala would be re validating by April 18th or so and he insists that is paramount.
NCP South-East raised the alarm at the end of its South-East zonal meeting at Awka. NCP therefore asked INEC to hasten preparations for the 2017 Governorship election by releasing timetable for revalidation of voters’ register and voter education.
In a communiqué endorsed by the South East zonal chairman of NCP , Prince Goodluck Obi and all the state chairmen , NCP said it has charged its members in the 326 wards in 21 local government areas to ensure its candidate and party becomes the next Governor and forms the next government.
Aside Prince Goodluck Obi , zonal Chairman South-East who signed the communique , others were Comrade Sir Peter Okpala , the Anambra state chairman of NCP; Comrade Tochukwu Ikwuemesi , former senatorial candidate for Anambra North senatorial zone Anambra state / National Financial Secretary of NCP; Dr V.C Odumejemba , zonal Secreatry South-East; Prince Leo Uzoma Acting Chairman Imo state; Comrade Nwaenyim Charles, Acting Chairman Ebonyi; Engr C.C Chigbue , Acting chairman Abia state;  Dede Simeon Oleh Acting chairman Enugu state among others.

NCP  South-East said it is well prepared for the Anambra Governorship election since its motto is abolition of poverty in the country, adding that after capturing Anambra , it would capture other South –East states hence great mobilization has started in all wards. They urged Anambrarians to ensure the Obiano led government is voted out by voting for the emancipation of the citizenry in the state.
NCP South-East pointed out that it would celebrating its 23 years of existence having been established in 1994 by Late Gani. It said some Nigerians would be awarded at the ceremony billed for April with Senior Advocate of the Masses (SAM).
NCP South-East further lamented the level of cross carpeting from one political party to the other by politicians, describing it as embarrassing especially when one person moves to upto three political parties in4 months. It called on people of goodwill to disassociate themselves from such candidates since they are desperate.
NCP South-East welcomed Mr president , Muhammadu Buhari back to Nigeria and prayed for him asking God to grant him long life and good health to continue the good work he started in fighting corruption even as they tasked him to ensure looters return the looted funds and the funds released to Governors should be used in paying workers and pensioners who are dying in droves sequel to frustration and lack of payment of their entitlements.

NCP South-East added that it would not merge with any political party in the election as it has strategized well for the election but said it could partner with a like mind political party to ensure Obiano and APGA are stopped from further punishment to Ndi Anambra by joining forces with others.
