Rivers Rerun: Governor Wike threatens to expose police plot to rig poll

Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared his readiness to release video footage if the Rivers state police commissioner's plot with politicians on how to rig the December 10 rerun election in the state.
The outspoken Governor alleged that the police commissioner has distributed  the 600 policemen working with the Special Anti Robbery Squad[SARS] in the state ti prominent APC leaders at bthe local government basis for the indiscriminate arrests of PDP supporters a few days to the election.
Wike who spoke while flagging off the rehabilitation of the general hospital, Abonnema in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area , noted that the audio-visual footage would be made public through different media platforms to expose the rigging plot of the Independent National Electoral Commissions' [INEC] with the police and other security agencies.
He further said that the 600 SARS personnel would unleash unprecedented violence on the people on the election day in order to enable APC leaders time to substitute result sheets handed over to them by the INEC leadership.
He said: 'We are now in possession of the DVD of how the police commissioner and some politicians were planning on how to rig the forthcoming legislative rerun elections in Rivers state. At the appropriate time, we shall release the materials for Nigerians to understand the depth of the electoral fraud being perpetrated by INEC and police.
