MASSOB urge Ndigbo to pray for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, others on Dec,1st.

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) has called on the Igbo nation and all people who have sympathy in the struggle for an independent state of Biafra to pray fervently for the release of the IPOB leader, Mr Nnamdi Kanu, and other detained Biafra agitators, as they will be arraigned in court on Thursday,December 1,2016.

The Comrade Uchenna Madu led faction of MASSOB, made the  appeal yesterday through a  press statement it issued from the acclaimed Biafra headquarter located at Okwe community,in Imo state, a copy of which was made available to 'The Authority newspaper.  MASSOB members will equally gather at Okwe on the same date to  fast and pray for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and other detained  Biafra activists, Comrade Madu stated.

Part of the statement reads,'As Nnamdi Kanu and others will appear in court on Dec 1st,  MASSOB urges the people of Biafra all over the world to observe praying, fasting and supplication for our brothers and Biafra heroes'.

'MASSOB members will engage in charismatic prayer meeting at MASSOB headquarters, Okwe on Dec1st. As we demand for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and others, we shall continue to  maintain our non violence principles'.

MASSOB beckoned on Igbo political leaders to throw their weight in the struggle to get Mr Kanu and other Biafra agitators out of detention, describing MASSOB and IPOB  as the foot soldiers of the Igbo nation, just as what Odua Peoples Congress,OPC is to the Yoruba nation, the Niger Delta militants to Niger Delta etc. In the press statement, MASSOB asserted that Igbo political leaders will not make significant progress politically, if they continue to underscore the potentials of MASSOB,IPOB,as their own 'political masquerades'.

'We wish to inform our people that pro Biafra agitating groups including MASSOB, IPOB and others remained the political masquerade and pride of Ndigbo in Nigeria'.

'Every geopolitical region in Nigeria has their political masquerade. Odua peoples Congress (OPC), Niger Delta Militants, Boko Haram respectively represent the political, economical, religious, cultural interest and survival of their people and regions in Nigeria, their leaders tactically, technically and confidentially worked with them for the common interest of their indigenous people in Nigeria because they believe that Nigeria state is a geographical expression, it doesn't exist in their minds'.

'Until Igbo leaders understand the efficacy, potentiates and political value of MASSOB, IPOB and others, they will never progress politically in Nigeria. Today, major Igbo leaders have abandoned Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Nwawuisi and Madubugwu of IPOB, Innocent Orji, Sabastine Amadi, Uchenna Nicholas and 17 others of MASSOB and Benjamin Onwuka and others of BZM because they thought that these men pose threat to their political adventures in Nigeria or economic interest'..
