Nigerian international Arsenal of England fast rising footballer, Alex Iwobi has admitted he never expected to be a first team player at Arsenal so soon. The pacy forward burst onto the scene last season and had been able to keep his spot in Arsene Wenger's team this season.
He has appeared in nine out of Arsenal's eleven Premier league games this year and he has explained how that was beyond his wildest dreams not so long ago. Iwobi told Arsenal's official website: "Honestly, i didn't expect to be where i am today. I thought a long time ago that i had be on loan and probably get experience there before having first team experience. But the fact that the boss trusted me to jump into the first team as quick as i did, i can only be grateful for it.The same way that i was able to break into it is the same way that i take my chance now.I play like its almost my last game, i treat it like its my last moment here, so I do my best and i always put 100% into whatever i do.
Iwobi and his team mates face a difficult challenge this weekend as they make a trip to Manchester United to face the Red devils at old trafford. Arsenal sit fourth on the premier league table and will be looking to improve on their 1-1 draw with London rivals Totenham hot spurs last time out.
I AM SURPRISED TO HAVE BROKEN INTO ARSENAL's FIRST TEAM--IWOBI
