GRIEZMANN OPEN TO EPL MOVE

Athletico Madrid star, Antoine Griezmann, has ruled out a move to either cross city rivals, Real Madrid or PSG, but he would be open to a transfer to either Barcelona or the Premier league.

'A transfer to Real Madrid from Athletico is not an option', the French player told Telefoot. Barcelona would be a very attractive option, but they have three untouchable players who are doing very well for them and could put every player on the bench. PSG could be an interesting option but i do not want to move to the French league, at least not at this stage of my career.

I prefer to stay in La-liga, or may be move to the Premier league. I have heard the premier league is crazy, so why not if a right offer arrives? But without disrespecting my darling club Athletico, i wish to make it clear that i am not planning to leave Athletico at all cost. I am enjoying my football here, and i love the city of Madrid

I am very happy with Athletico Madrid at the moment, and i will continue trying my best to help my club win in all the competitions that we are into.

The 25-year-old has emerged as one of the most sought after player in recent time, and had been linked with a move away from the capital club on more than two occasions, despite recently penning a new deal that will keep him at the Vincente Calderon till June 2021.

Manchester United are allegedly very interested in luring him to the Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho not hiding his admiration for the French goal poacher, and Griezmann has now boosted the premier league club's chance by declaring his admiration for the league.
