Nigerian Super Falcons are ready for their semi final clash against the Bayana Bayana of South Africa at the ongoing Women Cup of African nations in Cameroon.
The Nigerian ladies are gunning for a record eighth title after winning seven of the last nine editions.
Speaking ahead of the game the head coach of the female team, Florence Omagbemi said the players are ready for the duel. "We era focused and ready,' Omagbemi said. We have communicated with the players and the expectation is different at this stage. I am happy to say i have all the 21 players ready and fit to play on Tuesday[Today] we have no injury issues in the camp. We might make some changes to the line up against South Africa.
29-year-old defender Faith Ikidi, said the team will be looking forward to a win as they are not yet tired of dominating the tournament. She added that the spirit in the camp is very high and all the players have made up their minds to defeat South Africa in order to have a chance to play in the final and possibly win it.
