Due to public outcry and that greeted the planned Increase in Data tariffs by telecommunication companies, the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, suspended its planned data tariff increase today after the Intervention of the Nigerian Senate.
NCC announced the immediate suspension of the new minimum pricing template for data services by mobile operators saying the decision is to allow for further consultation.
