Chelsea ends Spurs' unbeaten run


Chelsea football club of England, on Saturday evening defeated city rivals, Totenham Hot-spurs in a thrilling 3 goals encounter. The hitherto unbeaten visitors made no secret of their intention to preserve their amazing run, when they took an early lead when star player Erikson, drilled an unstoppable and unexpected shot outside the 18 yard box to beat Chelsea's Belgian custodian, Thiabolt Curtois with only 11 minutes played.

However, just as the exciting first half was wearing to an end, the homers restored parity through a well drilled Pedro turn-and-shoot effort, with was a reminiscence of Hazard's beautiful goal against same opponents last season, which all but ended Totenham's faint chance of clinching the league trophy last season. The first half ended on a 11 stalemate.

On resumption of second half, the homers took the initiative and attacked their visitors in numbers. The breakthrough came through the boots of in-form Nigerian winger, Victor Moses, who was apparently unmarked, the African made no mistake as he took a ferocious shot that took a deflection on a Totenham player, and ricocheted into the yawning net to set the entire Stamford Bridge into a frenzy. The West London club held on to the scoreline until the center referee brought the entertaining match to an end. With the victory, Chelsea are back on top of the EPL table on 31 points.
