President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo are currently meeting Niger Delta stakeholders behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting is holding inside the Council Chambers.
It is being attended by state governors, traditional rulers and leaders of thought from the region, as well as top government officials.
The meeting is called to find a lasting solution to the problems in the region.
Journalists were asked to excuse them at about 12.15pm after the president’s guests were introduced to him.
