Pounds rained in Nnewi as Ifeanyi Ubah ; Angus Kinnear , Westham United MD donates Pounds to Okongwu Memorial Grammar School Nnewi

www.odogwublog.com reports that pounds rained in Nnewi today as the Managing Director of Westham United FC, Mr Angus Kinnear and President and financier of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah donated handsomely to the Okongwo Memorial Grammar School Nnewi.

This is coming as Kinnear described the president and financier of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah as a man of vision and ideas shared by his club.

Mr Kinnear said this in a speech he delivered at Ifeanyi Ubah Sports Complex Nnewi. He pointed out that he has seen great talents among the children footballer gathered from across the twenty one local government areas of the state who are kitted with FC Ifeanyi Ubah outfits.

The MD of Westham FC noted that football is not just a game because it has the capacity to turn lives around for the best. He said that his club has a long history of youthful football and as such would collaborate with FC Ifeanyi Ubah to develop the budding talents.

The president of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah at the occasion described Westham FC as one of the best football academy and that Anambra state has so much to benefit from the partnership particularly the 'Made in Anambra football' project which is expected to engage fifty thousand families in the state.

He intimated his visitor of the development that has taken place in the Ifeanyi Ubah International stadium in just seven months.

Chief Ubah noted that football is the next hope of the future and that he is determined to make Anambra state key into the future of hope and empowerment and that one thousand youths from the state would get automatic scholarship into his football academy.

In his own comment at the occasion, Sen Alphonsus Ubanese also described Dr Ubah as a man of innovation who makes impossible possible. He described the publisher of Authority Newspaper as a man of unprecedented philantrophy and a gift of nature to humanity.

Ann Chijena, the assistant coach of Super Falcons at the occasion said that she was impressed with the array of stars who turned out to be part of the historic event.

She urged the budding stars to be disciplined, determined and dedicated to their dream of become re known athletes in the future.

Mr Angus Kinnear at the occasion announced a donation of five thousand pound sterling to Okongwu Memorial Grammar School and thirty thousand pounds to the Anambra state football association while Ifeanyi Ubah foundation also donated one million Naira to Okongwu Memorial Grammar School, his alma mata.

The paramount traditional ruler of Nnewi, Igwe KON Orizu 111, Mr Peter Stephenson, MD, I-Gaming sports, Mr John Okafor, Kanu Nwankwo, Uche Ogbuagwu and other eminent personalities graced the epoch making occasion.
