HOW GTBANK SCAMMED ME IN THE NAME OF CASHLESS POLICY - ANGRY NIGERIAN CRIES IUT

This was sent to us by an angry
customer of GTBank.
NOTE:- This was not posted to
defame any brand but to serve as a
Notice to resolve the Issue. We’ve
received over 18 mails on this same
issue in the past 1 month and yet
the option of Cashless withdrawal
is still available on their App and
also on their ATM Machines.
Read below:-
On a saturday, May 28th 2016. I
forgot my ATM at home and I
needed to withdraw. GTbank do
send me a message that I could
withdraw without my ATM. So I
tried it dialing *777#. I was debit
the money 8,000 and I went to
the ATM with the pin sent to me
to follow the instructions given.
I did the it first time, It said
incorrect withdrawal ID. Okay,
Maybe I made a mistake. The
second time. I was sent a
transaction ID. and then the
machine displayed Transaction
Error. I got another text
Transaction Successful. WOW.!!
I complain to the customer care,
she said there will be a reversal,
that i should wait after 5 working
days. I waited and nothing
happened.
I went back to her, she said she
has sent a reminder that the
department to handle such issue.
She said I should wait for another
5days. I waited. I went back
again. She then gave me an email,
gtbank customer care. I then sent
a mail and I got an Automated
reply. Then I got an Error mail
that the quota of the mail address
i sent to is filled up. I went back
to her again. This time she said I
should call GTConnect. I did and
the person on the phone said he
will also send a reminder to the
department that I should wait for
48hours. I did and nothing
happened.
I went back to the customer care
unit. She shouted at me that I
should just go and keep calling
GTConnect. I didn’t want to create
a scene. So I started calling
GTConnect each time I close from
work. and all they keep saying is
“I will send a Reminder to the
Department who will Handle the
Matter. Please Wait for 48hours”.
2 Months passed. I got tired. I had
no one else to complain to except
my friends. I was checking
Instagram and show GTbank post.
I complained again and yet
nothing has been done.
I am posting my ordeal with this
bank here because I don’t want
others to fall for this. I still have
all the evidences and mails that
transpired during that time.
