Sequel to the invitation extended to him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over alleged N4.75bn arms funds traced to him, former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, has arrived Nigeria from his base in the United States to respond to the commission’s invitation.
Obanikoro arrived in Lagos en-route Amsterdam and headed for Abuja to meet up with the commission’s invitation on Monday.
A firm belonging to Obanikoro’s sons, Sylvan McNamara, is being investigated by the commission for allegedly receiving N4.75bn arms funds from the office of the former National Security Adviser between April 4, 2014, and December 15, 2014.
