  www.odogwublog.com reports that Anambra state literally stood still for Chief (Sir) Prince Uche Oduche, (Ksc) weekend Saturday 3rd September, 2016 during his 2016 annual new yam festival (Iwa-ji) at his country home.
Prince Oduche  is the Ikenga Ifitedunu , and Okunaenyeife Ifitedunu. He owns chains of businesses across the country. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Life is Faith Motors Limited , Lagos ; CEO Littleme Baby World Limited Lagos and CEO Fair Haven Estate Abuja.
SO penultimate week his Iwa-ji turned political as the Governor of Anambra state , Chief Willie Obiano , Deputy Governor , Dr Nkem Okeke among hundreds of political appointees of in the state especially Anambra Central  senatorial zone particularly from Dunukofia, Njikoka council areas attended the celebration tagged ‘’Iwa-ji Ikenga Ifitedunu’’.


 Also at the Ikenga’s Iriji festival were Senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, and immediate National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, state Chairman of APGA , Norbert Obi, Chief Whip of Anambra state House of Assembly/Member Representing Dunukofia in the state House of Assembly, GHon La Ezeudu, SSA political to Obiano, Chinedu Obidigwe, SSA to Obiano on politics Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr Nkechi Chikwelu, among other political appointees.

Others are traditional rulers from far and near including the traditional ruler of Igbariam , Igwe Okalakwu Kelly Nzekwe and that of Alor community , Igwe Chinedu Elibe-Okonkwo, Hon Timothy Ifedioramma representing Njikoka constituency, Hon Azubuike Okoye of Anaocha constituency, Ichie Ilokoye, Chief Kenneth Adaka (Ezeozo Abba), Ichie Ubom of Agulu, Former Dunukaofia council boss , Chief Cosmos Agagbo , Celestine Tagbo Mmili Umueri, IKC Chukwuma , Ezeuzu Ichida among others.

Prince Oduche , a business declared support for Governor Willie Obiano’s administration and for his second term bid.

Though a cultural event but it turned political, recording a flocking of major APGA stakeholders in Ifitedunu, Dunukofia and Njikoka who played host to the state, and United Anambra Youths U-AYA praise band supplied interludes of musical rendition alongside other local drummers and dancers.

Umeh, who attended in company of his wife, asked all to heed Governor Obiano’s clarion call to go back to Agriculture to ensure food security, warning that hunger stares the country in the face, commending Oduche’s commitment and dedication to culture and mankind.

Obiano represented by his Adviser on Political Matters, Chinedu Obidigwe, described the day as a divine one in which APGA achieved Victory in Dunukofia, adding that APGA leadership brought peace and security to the state. He urged the people not to be deceived by desperadoes but to support the Governor’s second term bid to avail him the opportunity to fulfill his vision for the state.

Prince Uche Oduche expressed happiness for the solidarity to him and assured that together with his group APGA’s victory at the next poll is assured and guaranteed.
He commended what he termed many successes the Obiano administration achieved within two years, insisting that he would use everything in his disposal to support the second term bid and all APGA activities.

Though Prince Oduche never belonged to any party before, he was handed over APGA flag as a new convert by Chief Umeh amidst pomp and ceremony.
