Breaking News: Tension in Imo state as militants blow up Shell Oil company pipeline

www.odogwublog.com reports that there is confusion in Imo state as the new militant group known as the Red Scorpion this afternoon carried out their threat by blowing up oil installation pipeline belonging to the Shell oil company in Awara, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo state.

The group had earlier warned of the destruction following their exclusion from dialogue by the Federal Government blew up the pipeline as a warning signal, threatening to continue if they continually neglected.

The Police Public Relation Officer, Andrew Enwerem  confirmed the news saying ‘’we got the report of destruction of oil installation at Awara,but we are yet to know the extent of damage".
