Anambra 2017: Tony Nwoye begins mobilization for APC in the North

Perhaps, it is no longer news that the member representing Anambra East and West federal constituency in the federal House of Representatives Hon. Tony Nwoye has left the People's  Democratic Party PDP and joined All Progressive Congress APC, what could be news however is that the new APC man has began massive mobilization people into his new party in Anambra north senatorial district. 

The Authority gathered from reliable sources that the reps member who was the governorship candidate of PDP during 2014 governorship election in Anambra has been going round the northern zone with his foot soldiers to convince people to join him in APC with the densely populated places like Onitsha north and south local area as his major target.

A prominent businessman at Onitsha main market who did not want his name in print, told the Authority that some diehard followers of Nwoye have approached him with a request to mobilize Onitsha traders into APC telling him that the national ruling party is desirous of wrestling the government house in Awka come 2017 with the intention to fix Anambra at the center

Although the popular businessman didn't admit whether he accepted the job of mobilizing traders for APC or not, he revealed that the entrance of Nwoye into APC has raised the popularity of the party in Anambra north as according to him, notable individuals and group from that zone have began to pitch tent with the APC courtesy of the reps member.
