N15 Million water channel construction going on in Unizik

Nnamdi Azikiwe University invites reputable, qualified and competent firms to tender for the construction of water channel across the university main entrance gate.

Tender Requirements: 
Qualified and interested bidders are required to submit the following documents/evidence for Pre-qualification and tender for the projects.
a.    Evidence of payment of non refundable deposit of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira)
b.    Certificate of registration/incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
c.    Current three years tax clearance certificate
d.    List of plant and equipment owned by the company and verifiable addresses of their locations
e.    Details of verifiable experience of similar projects/evidence of timeous completion of projects of similar nature and magnitude
f.    Resume of key professional staff to be involved in the work and evidence of registration with the relevant professional bodies.
g.    Current financial status of the company
h.    Evidence of remittance of pension contribution fund for staff of the company from reputable Pension Funds Administrators (PFA) as provided in section 16 sub section 6 (d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
i.    Evidence of compliance with the statutory provisions of section 6(1)-(3) of the Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act.

Collection of tender documents for the projects

Interested bidders shall on presentation of evidence of payment collect the tender documents (s) from the Office of the Director of Physical Planning between the hours of 10.00am and 3.00pm daily with effect from 22nd of April 2016 till the closing date on 5th of May, 2016.

Submission of tender documents for the projects
Technical and Financial bids shall be submitted in two different wax-sealed envelopes and labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively with the Company’s name indicated at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be wax-sealed and placed in a third envelope also wax-sealed and marked with the relevant project name at the top right hand corner and addressed to: The Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka not later than six (6) weeks from the date of this publication that is, on or before 12.00noon on 5th of May, 2016.

Opening of tender documents for the projects
Bidders should note that all Bids received shall be opened in the Council Chambers of the University by 1.00pm on 5th of May, 2016.

Note: Please note that only contractors who have executed single similar projects of value above N15.0milliom Naira can apply.
