FG recruiting Igbo teachers to teach criminals Biafran songs for ulterior motives - IPOB

The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra ( IPOB), has accused the All Progressive Congress led- Federal Government of recruiting Igbo teachers who would teach Igbo songs to some criminals allegedly assembled in Lagos to disguise as IPOB members.

According to IPOB in a statement issued yesterday by its Media and Publicity Officer, Emma Powerful, the criminals would after learning the Igbo songs, wear  T- shirts with IPOB inscriptions and attack some military installations purportedly in retaliation of the recent invassion of Enugu community by herdsmen.

This, according to the pro- Biafra group is to create the wrong impression that IPOB members are violent to pave way for another crack down on them.

The statement read in part: "The IPOB intelligents discovered that a security agency  has offered some politicians and some youths from igbo extraction huge some of money to recruit some igbo teachers to come to Lagos and teach some non IPOB groups recruited by the APC government Igbo language they will use to sing Biafra songs.
" They will wear IPOB T-shirts and lay their attacks in army barracks, police stations and destroy a lot of things in our land in the name of retaliation of the killing in Uzo Uwani Enugu state.

"The Igbo teacher whom they approached and promised to pay N70000 per hour refused to collect it but right now so many people accepted the offer and are traveling  to Lagos for the job.

"All this is in a bid to kill or jail our leader mazi Nnamdi Kanu for life.We are calling on our people to beware".

IPOB restated its earlier position that it had no intensions to retaliate the killings in Uzo- Uwani by herdsmen, insisting that  it would not succumb to any temptation to review its non violent stance no matter the provocations.
