IPOB blasts DSS , says APC government is shameless

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)yesterday after its emergency meeting in Nnewi, Anambra state said the allegation of the Department of State Services, DSS, linking it to the abduction, murder and burying of five Fulani Herdsmen in Abia state is to influence the Judge handling the case of its leader and Director of Radio Biafra,Mr Nnamdi Kanu to be hard on him.

In a statement issued after the meeting and signed by IPOB Media and Publicity Officer Mr Emma Powerful, a copy of which is made available to The Authority, the group pointed out that the DSS allegation was fabricated and aimed at painting the non violent IPOB as if it is a violent group, noting that the world over has known IPOB as a peaceful group and that no amount of campaign of calumny by the All Progressives Congress led Federal Government and DSS will dent its image and peaceful records.

"DSS is going about fabricating lies in order to influence the judges in the upcoming appeal hearing over our leaders freedom,  Nigerian government are the ones killing us and our people, raping our women and girls through their Fulani herdsmen brothers yet we kept calm, now they are lying that we killed Hausa people.

"How come it is now that Buhari's Judge is being disgraced with facts, that this nonsense is coming up. IPOB totally reject this amateurish smear campaign by Buhar's secret police known as DSS. If APC President thinks that this is the way he can escape justice at the Hague then he is clearly making a big mistake and mockery of his government, we are also wondering why he is reacting now when he has kept quiet on the Fulani herdsmen killing in Agatu and Enugu state where women and girls were equally raped and killed and their husbands were arrested and detained for weeks while searching for them, shame to APC government and their leaders.


In another development IPOB yesterday said it has uncovered another plans by the All Progressives Congress, APC, led Federal Government of Nigeria to assassinate their leader Mr. Nnamdi Kanu in Kuje Prison through the help of Boko Haram detainees.


IPOB in a statement signed by its Media and Publicity Officer Mr Emma Powerful, said that the Federal Government, the Department of State Services, DSS and the officials of the Kuje prisons held a meeting where they agreed that they will use the Boko Haram detainees to eliminate Mr. Kanu.


"In the meeting they agreed to use some acclaimed Boko Haram leaders who were arrested and kept in an unknown prison, and will be brought to Kuje Prison after being taken to court, where they will be remanded in the same prison with Mr Kanu and will be given weapons to attack him claim he insulted them which led to physical combat that claimed his life. 


"Another game plan according to our intelligence arm revealed that the Boko Haram fighters will break the prison where Mazi Kanu is presently detained in Kuje to assassinate him through strangling him to death and escape from the prison and then government will claim that the Boko Haram attacked the prison to free their member who were detained in Kuje prison in the masterminded jail break" said IPOB.


The IPOB therefore said it wish to alert the world the latest plan by the APC led government before they carry out their hatched plans, so that they will not be deceived by the lies being peddled by the Federal Government against IPOB and its leader.


"We, the Indigenous  People of Biafra worldwide decided to raise the alarm and to let the world know that the Federal Government of Nigeria before now has planned a motor accident for Mazi Kanu on his way to the court, and another plan was to assassinate him through an attack on his way to the court and claim that IPOB members attacked security agents taking him to court and in the process killed Mr. Kanu, but all those plans were foiled and now they have planned to eliminate him through Boko Hara detainees they will bring to Kuje prison to be detained with Mr Kanu, we want the world to take notice of all these plans.


"We are calling on international community, lovers of freedom around the world Amnesty international, human rights watch, United Nations, African Union and all relevant human right organizations to take note that  if any thing happen to our leader the world will not blame IPOB worldwide the catastrophic situation Nigeria will find itself.


"We are not terrorists, we are non violent freedom fighters, we should not be compared with terrorists groups which the APC government is their chairman and chief executors, freedom fighters like us don't kill or unleash blood  unless blood of innocent people like Nigeria Federal Government and their and their agents are doing" he said.


According to IPOB, "Biafra people are unique people, we are showing civility, maturity and professionalism in our quest for restoration of Biafra through the peaceful protest going around the globe, in south African countries the protest is on going in Namibia, Angola, Zimbabwe and South Africa, the protest is to prove to Nigerians that Biafra is unstoppable because is a divine project by the Chukwu Okike Abiama, Almighty God of Abraham, who gave IPOB mandate to restore Biafra and no man can stop it"
