Accusations and counter accusations have continued to trail the alleged murder of one Tochukwu Enekebe and missing of Mr Kingsley Obi at Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra between two warring factions in the Area.
Enekebe was said to have been murdered in a bush at Nkpor -Uno about three years ago while Obi was allegedly arrested in his house at Nkpor-Agu on 17th January 2016 by Police men numbering about five who came with six pointers.
Reacting to the murder and missing of the duo, Chibuzor Okeke who spoke to the press on behalf of one faction denied being among the policemen that Chika Obi, wife of the missing man, alleged came with. adding that it is mere fallacy.
According to him, ''Chief Godwin Onwukwe, and others now at large including two that are presently in prison custody should be held responsible for the murder of Enekebe while the police should also be held responsible for the missing of Mr Obi. since they were the one that picked him from his house to Ogidi police station and later to Abuja according to the wife".
Reacting when contacted, Ikenna denied knowledge of what of what Mrs Obi was saying adding that “she should hold the police responsible as she claimed that the police took her husband to Ogidi Police Station then to Abuja”.
In a swift reaction when contacted Godwin Onwukwe said that, "from police interim investigation report on 12th may 2014, those suspected to have carried out the murder of Enekebe included, Christopher Aniemeka ,Arinze Ibe, Kingsley Anikpe, Hon Dr CC Okeke Chibuzor, Anikpe Samuel Ikenna, Sunday Udo and one Izuchukwu."
"The exhibits gotten from them included, three automatic pump action guns and 17 pieces of live cartridge." he hinted.
He added that "the same people masterminded the arrest of Obi and disappearance and as such should tell his where about."
Earlier, Mrs Chika Obi had accused Chibuzor Okeke and five others of accompanying the police to the house Obi where they arrested him and took him away. adding that they should be held responsible for the where about of her husband.
“Those that led about five policemen to our residence were Chibuzor Okeke, Ikenna that they call Wester, Obinna Onwukwe, Sunday Udo and one Obi”, she hinted
“Since the day they took away my husband to Ogidi Police Station and to Abuja till now I have not set my eyes on him and I appeal to the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Solomon Arase and Governor Willie Obiano to prevail on these people to produce my husband.
