The amazing Ifeanyi Ubah sports village: massive construction indeed!

What I saw yesterday at Ozubulu...
I used to hear about ongoing construction of the Sports village at Ozubulu town near Nnewi by Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, but have never been there until yesterday.
What I saw there shows that a thinker that sees far beyond the imagination of ordinary eyes is behind what I call 'Massive project'.
What did I see?
I saw workers of various professions busy with what they know how to do; over 300 workers of different fields working to achieve result.
Somewhere busy with metal construction, carpentry, plumbing, etc.
Not less than 300 workers were busy on the project. I saw some women busy, selling food to the workers.
Beyond the area marked for spectators in the stadium, there is also massive construction going on outside the main football arena.
The situation forced me to ask the engineer handling the work: "what are you doing on this very area?" and he replied:
"We are constructing medical facility, hotel, shopping mall, filling station, event centre, sports village etc."
Me: This must be an integrated Sports village of International standard.
Engineer: Yes, as you can see, it is massive with a modern concept.
Me: To God be the glory.

 Speaking later, the man behind the idea, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, stated that the complex also has an area that will house an industrial estate.
According to this Nnewi born thinker,
"We are going to have International standard Sports village here in Anambra state.
It will house Youths Development Centre where we are going to focus on youth’s development.
I was once a goal keeper on state competition level and I understand the role of sports in a given society especially in this era".
Ubah went on to say that he is developing sports tourism that will add much to our development.

Hear him:
"Today, sports is one industry you can't avoid in the world of tourism. Yes, though, in this part of the world, we neglect its development but love to have just result without investing on what led to result”
“I am investing for its multiplier results. I want to see FC Ifeanyi Ubah (Anambra warrior) not only winning Nigeria premiership League, but also leading Africa clubs to the world clubs competition.
"My vision here is that we are going to use it to drive tourism gain into our economy and that is why I am putting every needed facility that will make it a world class facility"
The CEO of Capital Oil and Gas went on to say,
"No ambitious economy of 21century will stand without its ability to attract people from other countries into her economy and this is where I see my project as a platform for development of Sports Tourism in Nigeria,” he said.

With what I saw at Ozubulu town which is a neighbouring town to Nnewi, I see the world moving into Africa in near future .Yes I see that facility and ambition behind it attracting world to us and taking us to the world also.
The facility has capacity to accommodate more than 2000 vehicles! The level of Construction equipments I saw there defined the ambition behind the project.
I am not into Construction and may not be able to name each of the heavy construction equipments I saw there, but the point is that I saw different heavy equipments that can send any construction project to completion point.
It is of note that some foreigners (six Brazilians) are attracted into FC Ifeanyi Ubah that won their first match of the ongoing Nigeria Premiership league of the season which they played against Giwa FC of Jos (away match ).
I went on to ask the man behind the ongoing Wonder in Ozubulu town, why this big project?
And he replied me:
"My brother, I go for the best. I have phobia for poor project or failure, so it is my policy to go for the best in whatever I set my eyes to do. I am best result orientated.
I can't go for low quality project .You see me here supervising the project? It is because I created the vision and I will always monitor its implementation. By God's grace, we shall achieve our target to God's glory.
I did my feasibility study and the result is yes-yes situation ".
No wonder my roommate at UNN and an economist told me that calling Ifeanyi Ubah an African Genius is localizing him .He went on to informed me that genius is genius anywhere and that Ubah is one and that it is beyond the shore of Africa!
I concur!
As I head to Port Harcourt to watch Anambra state based FC Ifeanyi Ubah playing Rivers Angels FC, I pray that they win this away match.
Here I am adjusting my support to English Premiership League to Nigerian Premiership League.
Let's Go Nigeria League!!!
