Supreme Court never ruled against Anambra PDP legislators in the first place

According to the Supreme Court, "...the applicant is seeking clarification whether to issue certificate of return to persons in the list of Ejike Oguebego-led executive committee. This was not part of our judgement.
“Also, INEC is seeking clarification whether to conduct fresh election into the National Assembly in respect of both Senate and House of Representatives' seats affecting Anambra State. This again was not part of the judgement.
“These are matters which were properly ventilated at the Election Tribunal and Court of Appeal. I am not aware that those matters are on appeal here.
“Issues relating to seats in the National Assembly were fought, won and lost at the Election Petition Tribunal and lower court. It cannot be revived here through the back door...
“It is untrue that parties do not understand the import of our judgement.
“Where in that judgement did we state that the Oguebego-led Anambra State Executive Committee of the PDP should take over the functions of the National Executive Committee of the PDP such that it can submit list of candidates for election to INEC?
“I think counsels are not fair to this court when they say they do not understand the judgement of this court which was written in simple English language."- John Inyang Okoro, JSC delivering Judgment on the Application by INEC for clarification on the Supreme Court Judgement on the Anambra state PDP crisis  delivered on January 29th 2016.
