Edo magistrate, others kidnapped

An Ehor court magistrate simply identified as Hassana and other unidentified persons have been reported kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The AUTHORITY yesterday gathered that she was kidnapped at Obadan village near Ogbemudia Farms about 15 minutes’ drive from Benin axis of the Benin-Okene- Lokojo road.
 She was said to be going to her station in Ehor where she is a magistrate when the suspected kidnappers attacked commuters and went away with her and some other persons whose identities are not yet know.
It was gathered that the magistrate, his ordeal and driver were first attacked along the road leaving the orderly shot before the driver drove into the village where they thought was safe when they were attacked again and some of them whisked away.
 As at the time of this report yesterday, no contact has been made to her family. A police source confirmed the incident and informed The AUTHORITY that the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase has already directed the Commissioner of Police in the state, Chris Ezike to ensure the immediate release of the abducted persons and the abductors arrested.
