Unizik VC, Prof Ahaneku buries Mother Lady (Lolo) Elizabeth Adaure Ahaneku

www.odogwublog.com reports that Lady (Lolo) Elizabeth Adaure Ahaneku, LSM has being laid to rest yesterday 25th February, 2016 at her Ahiara Ahiazu Mbaise Imo state home with thousands of mourners across the federation gathered to bid her farewell.
Late Adaure Ahaneku was the mother of the Vice Chancellor , Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka , Prof Joseph Eberendu Ahaneku , FAS.
She died at the ripe age of 96 years and her farewell mass is taking place at Mater Eccelesia Cathedral , Ahiara, Ahuazu Mbaise, Imo state.
All roads are leading to Mbaise as all Vice Chancellors and Professors across institutions in Nigeria are paying solidarity condolence to the Vice Chancellor as well as his staff and students unions among other youth and students organizations.
Daughter in law and wife of the Vice Chancellor of Unizik, Associate Prof, Gladys Ahaneku, PhD said Mama deserves any befitting burial to be given to her as she ran a good race and was wonderful mother in law throughout her life time.

Governor Obiano was represented by his deputy Dr Nkem Okeke while Imo and Ebonyi deputy governors represented their Governors, Senator Ben Ndi-Obi , University Community and other tertiary institutions were all in attendance.........
