Suspected Kidnappers plant bombs in Edo Community

Bomb Suspected to be planted by kidnappers in Zomizomi Street, Upper Sokponba Road area in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo state exploded injuring one.

According to a witness the bomb destroyed properties worth millions of naira including his fridges and other electronic at about 2 pm when he was resting in his house.

It was gathered that kidnappers leaved in the house for a long time before the Nigeria Army raided the place recently and rid the community of the dreaded kidnapper who had already planted bombs in the compound.

It was also gathered that the new tenant of the house was burning his refuse and went to buy some food stuff when the bomb exploded destroying his fence, ceiling and other valuables.

At the time of filling this report, men of the Edo State police Command were detonating other bombs Suspected to be planted in the area.
