According to its leader Mr. Micheal Nnaluo who spoke to reports '‘ The man we are talking about is Ifeanyi Odumegwu who is the secretary of PDP reconciliatory committee for Ihiala Local Government area.
“He has never been a member of our political party APGA and he cannot come now to take over positions meant for APGA members”
It as on the strength of the protestant Odumegwu was dropped and Mr Tabugbo Iwuchukwu was appointed Chairman for Ihiala council area and approved by the state house of Assembly.
Reacting to the development the member representing Ihiala I State Constituency in the house of Assembly, Mr Chidi Udemadu assured that Ihiala legislators would collaborate with the new leadership to move Ihiala forward.
Also speaking the commissioner for special Duties in the state Mrs. Uzoamaka Ilobi advised the local government staff to support the new leadership by exhibiting good attitude to work, being punctual to work which according to her would enhance the upliftment of the area and the state in general.
Similarly the Anglican Bishop of Ihiala Archdiocese Most Rev Raphael Okafor has challenged the new transition Chairman of Ihiala Local Government council area to run an all inconclusive people Oriented government with the fear of God.
Bishop Okafor noted that it would be proper for him to carry everybody along especially the local government employees to enable him achieve the targeted goal of restoring peace in the area.
Responding, the transition Chairman Honorable Tabugbo Iwuchukwu said he came to solve the existing problems in the council area while extending hand of followership to the workers.He observed that he cannot accomplish his mission without the corporation of the workers.
