Anambra rerun: Obi can't stop me, says Umeh

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in next week's senatorial rerun poll in Anambra Central District, Chief Victor Umeh has accused former governor of the state, Mr Peter Obi of plotting to undo him in the election.
Umeh  who spoke to newsmen at Ichida, Anaocha Local Government Area of the state in a campaign tour, alleged that Obi and his cohorts were sponsoring serial court matters to stop the March 5 election, just to deal with him(Umeh)
He said " since 2012 Obi has been plotting my downfall. But God has been thwarting his evil plans against me because God knew how many battles I fought to sustain him (Obi )in office.

" I don't bear any grudges against him, but he has continued to fight me both covertly and overtly.
" My prayers for him as my brother is for him to accept Christ because he is not a Christian. He should be a born again. That is my prayers for him.
" But as for the March 5 rerun, Obi cannot stop me because God is with me and the people are behind me.
"You can see, even in Agulu, his home town, the people, including the traditional ruler, came out en masse to welcome me. They said  'we don't know any other person except you'.
He describe the people's support for him in the race as awesome, and assured quality representation for them in the senate if elected.
