Anambra: Arewa Youths To Honour Ohanaeze Chairman

In her bid to encourage the selfless effort of chairman of Anambra State branch of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Elder Chris Eluemuno, towards nation building, the Arewa Youth Assembly said it would honour him with award and traditional title.

This disclosure was made by the spokesman of the Northern Youths, Dogo Shagari, in a text message sent to Elder Eluemuno in his country home, Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Oyi Local Government which was made available to newsmen in Onitsha.

According to Shagari, the Ohanaeze Chairman would be bestowed as the ‘Youths Icon of hope and Garukawa Matasa’, Arewa Nigeria.

The message read in part thus,” the Arewa Youth Assembly has found you impeccable in youth empowerment, selfless service, Philanthropy, help for the elderly, encouragement and determination to embrace all irrespective of their tribe and religion”
“Our leadership has decided to bestow and honour you as Youths Icon of hope and Garakuma Matasa, Arewa Nigeria” he said.

In a related development, the Ohanaeze Chairman would tomorrow be conferred as the Ogbuefi Nwajiugo by the Ogbuefi society of Nkwelle-Ezunaka.
With this conferment he would be entitled to put on red cap and staff of office (offor) as a full fledged titled Igbo man
