Senator Ekwunife bounces back with APC ticket for Anambra Central, as Okorocha asks her to win

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has urged Senator Uche Ekwunife to win the Anambra Central Senatorial District re-run election for the All Progressives Congress (APC)
Okorocha stated this at the weekend when Ekwunife led other prominent politicians on a courtesy call to him at the Government House, Owerri.
He commended her for joining the APC, explaining that the doors of the party are open to all Igbos of goodwill, while advising her to collaborate with APC leaders in Anambra State like Chris Ngige and George Moughalu to win the re-run poll.
“I congratulate you for the strong political will of joining the APC despite all constraints. PDP is a party that gave nothing to the Igbos in terms of development because of its deceits. The APC is a party of truth that has zero-tolerance for corruption.
“I would urge you to bring to bear your wealth of political experience to the APC. No doubt you are a dogged politician who never give up. I am happy that you have come in with your numerous supporters since every Cathedral has a Bishop”, he said.
The governor further said, “I assure you of my support in your quest to return to the seat as the Igbos are in dire need to have a voice in the state. The Okigwe Senatorial Zone seat and the Anambra Central Senatorial seat would become APC soon”.
In her remarks, Senator Ekwunife said she came to intimate the governor who is the leader of the party in the South- East that she has joined the change train.
