Proud Igbo son, Izuogu backs Mbaka on Buhari

Renowned Igbo son and engineer, Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu, has commended Catholic priest, Fr. Ejike Mbaka, for speaking out on alleged plot by some politicians to destabilise the Federal Government.
In an interview, Mbaka raised the alarm on an alleged plot to kill President Muhammadu Buhari.
Reacting to Mbaka’s declaration, Izuogu said the priest hit the nail on the head, and insisted: He is the one man of God in Nigeria today.”
He said President Buhari and Nigerians should thank God for “raising Father Mba¬ka in our time,” adding that, “despite the fact that he is Catholic and I am Anglican, I thank God for the priest.
“God knows His own, irrespective of denomination. When God showed me who would be president a year ago, He also did to Mbaka. Don’t worry about false prophets hired by politicians to prophesy that Biafra is 70 per cent actualised. So, they prophesied that Jonathan would win. Note them. They are false prophets used by the devil to deceive believ¬ers.”
Mbaka, in a New Year sermon had said there were plans by unnamed people to assassinate President Buhari because of his campaign against corruption.
He said: “I am not a sy¬cophant, but I want to tell you that so far God is happy and he who God has blessed none can curse. Many people are planning to kill Buhari – there are many plans on how to eliminate his life so that corruption will continue, so that embezzlement will con¬tinue.
“But I speak to Buhari that God, who put you there, will protect you; be firm, remain resolute, don’t be intimi¬dated.”
He described Buhari as the answer to the prayers of Ni¬gerians, insisting: “President Buhari, God and his people are behind you, you are the answer to the prayer of His people. Nigeria, as we speak now, economically, security wise is in the intensive care unit. If the oxygen is re¬moved, Nigeria will die.”
