No candidate can beat Umeh –Group

A political group known as All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Think-Tank declared yesterday that no candidate can beat its candidate for Anambra  Central senatorial district, Chief Victor Umeh.
Reacting to the statement credited to the South-East spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osita Okechukwu, that Umeh has not been endorsed by anyone for the senatorial position, the group stated that despite the criticism, Umeh remains the best candidate.
“ Umeh is a Nigerian of very strong orientation embodying the tenets of studiousness, respect and service, as should be manifested by any politician worthy of the cadre. He was never anointed by anybody, but has always invited all contending parties to join the race and contest the senatorial seat with him. His disposition towards adhering to lay down rules during any interactions is borne out of respect for human pragmatics, which commitment has always been upheld by the Nigerian courts, to the chagrin of non-adherents.
“Therefore, Anambra Central senatorial district deserves a faithful, hardworking forthright senator in the mold of Umeh. His steadfastness with APGA goals since its formation in 2002 till date, his commitment to Anambra, the South-East, and Nigerian electorate, and their ethos is unrivalled in present-day Nigerian politics. He will serve Anambra Central and Nigerians well.”
