Man catches Crocodile in Agulu Lake as onlookers watch

www.odogwublog.com reports that Agulu Lake in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State today being the 7th day of January 2016 hosted Passers-by, Motorists and others who love nature and eco system.

 In what one could describe as an amazing event, when one man from Agulu sighted a large Crocodile family and went straight to the shore of the lake to touch the crocodile. It was this abracadabra touch that all the motorists alighted to observe and have the fun of seeing a large crocodile at the shore of the lake which came out to enjoy the sunshine.

When interrogated, one man Mr. Samuel Odogwu who knew the terrain and species of the croc said that the one people were admiring is not actually crocodile itself but a specie of it. He called the name as "Oba". He further said that Oba has large stomach and plump head while crocodile has lean body and straight head. Perhaps his description could be said to be correct based on local knowledge.

 It would be recalled that Agulu lake hosts all manner of reptiles but most deadly one is crocodile which had in the past terrorized neighbouring towns like Nise when one of them went astray and started eaten sheep and other animals. It was in that ravaging scenario that it was caught and its length was 12 feet from an eye witness.
 Take your eyes on that single line of sand, that is the spot of the crocodile.
