FC Ifeanyi Ubah records first win of the preseason against Mountain of Fire FC

Barely one day after he was unveiled before fans at the teams' training camp in Ibadan, FC Ifeanyi Ubah chief coach, Mitko Dobrev yesterday swung into action when he led the rejuvenated FC Ifeanyi Ubah to defeat premier league new entrants, Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) FC in a pre-season friendly at the Agege Township stadium,Lagos.
Dobrev, who was in charge and supervised the successful promotion of the team to the elite division of Nigerian league in 2014 before he returned home for further studies, rejoined the club officially last week end in preparation for the new football season billed to commence on February 21.
Playing against MFM who are also preparing ahead of its first baptism of fire in the elite league, FC Ifeanyi Ubah paraded a mix of its new signings in the friendly game where Suleiman Mohammed recorded the winning goal in the first half of the game
The team which is currently putting finishing touches to their preparations in Ibadan ahead of the new season is also expected to play another premier league debutant, Ikorodu United in a yet to be determined date in Lagos.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah will be guest to Giwa FC of Jos in the week one hostilities in the 2016 season, according to the fixture that was released by the League Management Company, (LMC).
