THE Chairman of Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special
Offences Enforcement Unit, Mr. Olubukola Abe has cautioned residents of
the state against organising street carnivals that could lead to break
down of law and order, noting that anyone found wanting would be
arrested.
Briefing newsmen in Lagos, Abe a Superintendent of Police, SP, disclosed that about 1, 110 motorcyclists plying restricted routes across the state were arrested in the month of November.
He further noted that 929 suspects were arrested last month, adding that 852 were charged to courts for prosecution.
