Muma Gee’s Hubby, Prince Ekeh kidnapped , as abductors threaten to bury him alive over N15 M ransom

Nollywood actor, filmmaker and Muma Gee’s husband, Prince Ekeh, has been kidnapped with a threat by his abductors to bury him alive if their N50 Million ransom demand were not met fat. He was believed to have been abducted by armed gunmen along the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
Confirming the incident to The Entertainer, devastated star-singer, Muma Gee, said she could not tell the exact time it happened, but that she believed it occurred in the afternoon of December 5, 2015. According to her, Prince Ekeh who had been shooting a film in Asaba, Delta State, was billed to attend a wedding ceremony with her that fateful day, adding that he had already informed Muma that he was about entering Port Harcourt and suddenly became incommunicado afterwards.
“He was abducted last Saturday, December 5. I didn’t even know until Monday December 7, when my phone rang around 7:30 8pm and it was his number. I grabbed the phone thinking it was him but alas, it was another voice which turned out to be one of his abductors,” the rattled singer said.
When asked whether she was thinking about involving the Police, she said she didn’t want to meddle into discussing security issues because her husband’s life was precious to her. She pointed out that, “I do not want to discourse about police or security agencies so that people will go and quote misquote me and cause more problems for us. I was surprised to learn from some social media that they asked about Police and I declined. It is not as if we cannot go to the Police or other security agencies, but we are being careful for security not to get involved in security issues because life is involved. I have only given audience to one social media and The Sun newspapers, and I thank The Sun for always standing by me, my career and family”.
She however, pleaded with all Nigerians to support her with prayers and any other means possible, including pleading with the abductors to spare her husband’s life. She added that the Ekeh family, herself, her church and other friends are doing everything possible to raise the N15M ransom to secure her husband’s release.
