How Vendors closed shop for Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday by noon in South-East ----as Nnewi Agog for South-East Newspaper distributors and Vendors ,meet with Dr Ifeanyi Ubah

Enthusiastic newspaper distributors and vendors even sales Representatives on Saturday were seen discussing the invitation from the Chairman/Publisher of The Authority Newspaper, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah billed for 12 noon at his palatial home in Nnewi. 
Distributors across the five states in South-East are expected to be in attendance for a Christmas largess and tete a tete with the Authority Chairman on how they see the new paper, its market acceptability and the way forward.
Over 100 distributors and vendors in Awka Anambra state capital would close markets by noon as they have agreed to proceed to Nnewi to discuss with Dr Ubah. The same applies to other zones in Anambra including Onitsha, Ekwulobia and Umunze even though Nnewi vendors would close by 1 pm since they are closer to the Chairman’s residence venue of the meeting.
Chairman of the Vendors and Distributors Association in Awka , Ogbonna Iwuagwu confirmed the report to The Authority on Saturday adding that they are over 130 vendors and distributors in Awka who are set for the trip.
‘’ We are expectant and everybody is going because nobody wants to miss the opportunity of seeing one of Anambra’s illustrious son who has impacted much on other Nigerians and have decided to impact on the vendors who he said at Lagos at a similar meeting with vendors and distributors are critical stakeholders in the newspaper business. He is the first to remember us in this manner and you can see his Newspaper is picking seriously and displacing some old names. 
‘’ Ubah is a man we would be happy with at the end of the visit because others who met with him and his workers are speaking good of him at celebration time like this and ours will not be different. W e will discuss openly on the best ways forward for his papers and what we noticed then he would of course make us proud because for the though alone is enough  to praise him and even give his product some preferential treatment.  We are going with this Willie is working long bus to accommodate us,’’ Iwuagwu said.    
Ubah has done similar tete a tete with Lagos vendors and distributors and same way he would continue until the entire federation is captured. He derives joy in hearing the challenges from the people himself to know how to come in, and as well distribute some branded vests and working tools to them.
