Hiddink is everything we need — Ivanovic

Branislav Ivanovic believes the appointment of Guus Hiddink provides stability for Chelsea FC at a crucial time.
It was announced shortly before the team kicked off against Sunderland on Saturday the Dutchman would be taking charge until the end of the season, and he met the players in the dressing room at the end of the game.
Ivanovic, who played under Hiddink during his initial period at the club in 2009, feels the team are in safe hands as it enters the busy Christmas period, which begins with a Boxing Day fixture at home against in-form Watford.
‘We all know how experienced he is, how he has everything that we need in this moment to give us stability,’ said the Chelsea right-back. ‘I hope we are going to work very hard this week and get a good result.
‘He knows guys, he knows the atmosphere in the club, he knows the supporters love him, and knows he is always welcome. He was a success the first time he was here so I hope it will be a good period for all of us.’
Hiddink’s first game in charge will be a tough one as Quique Sanchez Flores’s side, who have won four league games in a row, visit SW6.
Ivanovic is looking forward to what he hopes will be a positive atmosphere as we look to build on last weekend’s win against Sunderland.
