Breaking News: Agitation as Obiano gives N500,000 each to 177 Presidents General of Communities in Anambra

www.odogwubog.com reports that each President General of 177 communities in Anambra state has received a bank draft of N500,000 for palliative measures on their communal roads from Governor Willie Obiano against N1, 500,000 (One million , five hundred thousand) he gave last year.
But the Presidents General led by Dr Jude Okolo, ASATU President were protesting the amount as they had expected , N1.5 Million. They were protesting because according to insider source, Obiano gave each political ward in the state N500,000 if they delivered APGA and N100,000 consolation to wards that could not deliver APGA during the last election.
It was clear as at press time if the traditional rulers have received their security grants of equivalent sum of more. Efforts to contact Obi of Onitsha , Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Ache to comment could not yield results but a member said their drafts are being awaited.
