This whole thing goes all the way back to the massacre of our people that has been happening in Nigeria since 1910. Non-promotion of Igbo military personnel since 1962. Chief Awolowo using Igbo military officers to clear out his political enemies in the coup of 1966. The two pogroms that happened in Nigeria prior to the commencement of the Civil War of 1967 - 1,000,000 Igbos died in the pogroms, one million. The Civil War that claimed the lives of 3.1 million Igbo lives largely because of Chief Awolowo's policy of starvation. The break off of Rivers and Cross Rivers states from the Eastern Region by Chief Awolowo. The N20 humiliation of our fathers by Chief Awolowo. The mass killings of Igbos in Nigeria since Jos, 1945. The naked aggression/marginalization/disenfranchisement of Igbos in Nigeria since 1962 - all these and more are what we're dealing with right now.

And there is President Buhari's lop-sided appointments.

No one is even talking about it anymore, because in the entire 50 appointments made by Buhari, no single soul from the SE is represented - zero security, zero military, zero Aso Rock appointments. The Igbo ministerial appointments, and the offices they are appointed to hold is a joke, a pure joke.

President Jonathan and the people that worked with and for him have no part in this. Another thing is that Nigeria has grown ungovernable, restless, unorganized. No one respects Nigeria, no one knows what Nigeria is all about or where she is headed. When you say you're Nigerian, people avoid you like a plague. Something is gotta give, because this is NOT working.

The govt and APC is not solving the problem that produced this unrest, they're looking for scapegoats to FRAME, arrest, and jail.

I don't know how this whole thing gets resolved, but it
is important that we use PEACE. Give peace a chance.
